The story:

This is beyond embarrassing. I have been a huge LC fan since 1969. I have played and sung many of his songs, own all or almost all his CDs, and now have seen him in concert four times. However, it was not until October of 2009, when looking up the lyrics of "Famous Blue Raincoat" to quote another part, that I realized my mistake. I must admit that "sincerely el corn" never made sense to me, but I always wrote it off as another of those Leonard Cohen mysteries. "Sincerely, L. Cohen" makes perfect sense of course.
