I didn't share the embarrassment. I actually never told anyone. It was around 10 years before I realized I was wrong. When I saw sesame street I think it was my daughter was watching it. It was this song with various artist doing a sing along. With the bouncing ball thing and then I saw the real lyrics. I laughed to myself a good bit.
