I would have been about in my early 30's when I heard a cover version of the song somewhere. That was when I heard the correct words (from the singer who had clearer pronunciation than Mr Reyne!). I had always wondered why Australian Crawl never liked The Beatles "Eleanor Rigby" even though I must confess it isn't one of my favourites from the Fab Four. It is no wonder people looked at me with a funny look on their faces whenever "Reckless" came on the radio and I started talking about "Eleanor Rigby". And I am NOT BLONDE!
