I never found it embarrassing that I had the lyrics
wrong. I know they couldn't possibly be "Shake a
cow now" but that sure sounded like what they said!
For years, I didn't know what they were actually
saying. I thought it was nonsense words, like "shak-
a-ka, shak-a-ka, now". It was only a few years ago
that I looked it up online and, if that version is
right, it's "Shake it down, now".
