The story:

I introduced my brand new then-girlfriend to
the "softer side" of Alice in Chains, only to
discover that she listened to them already.
And I argued and argued that my version
was correct (because I had a copied tape
with no lyrics) until she dragged out her own
copy (on CD) and pointed. I mumbled
something about liking my version better
and changed the subject.
