If you hear a song in a language that's not your mother tongue, and certain phrases sound like your mother tongue, is it still called a Mondegreen? My dad, who knows English but it's not his mother tongue (his is Spanish) often changes English song phrases to what they sound like to him in Spanish. We know he's doing it on purpose, but his interpretations are always so funny, we can never stop laughing.
