I was singing out loud in front of a bunch of people who already felt that I was stupid. They proceeded to let me know that I really was. In actuality, I think it was understandable that half of the civilized world ALSO thinks that the lyric is "Reverend blue jeans" because it was shortly before this that Neil had a huge hit with "Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show!" Maybe Neil was just on a roll!
