Pass me the frogs, on a cold and frosty morning,

Real Lyric: Past three o'clock, on a cold and frosty morning,

    The story:

This song was on an audio tape my husband and I purchased of an old English Christmas caroles collection. Neither of us could understand the the phrase, and we brainstormed back and forth what it could be. My husband said, "It sounds like 'pass me the frogs,'" and I immediately agreed that was what I heard too. Now it is our inside joke for anything we don't hear properly--we just say, "Pass me the frogs." Loved that tape and wish we still had it--but on a CD.
