Paint me a bunny now

The story:

I was listening to the radio when the DJ announced Paint Me a Birmingham.

It seemed every time I heard this song the chorus always caught my attention to sing it. I sang it like that for months in front of whoever would listen ... with NO ONE ever correcting me and secretly laughing inside. Asked my husband why he never told me and he said he wanted to see how long it took me to figure it out. He sure thinks it is hilarious to this day picturing a bunny in a cotton dress on the front porch swing. He'll never let me live that one down.
