My friend Jason and I were singing this song in a karaoke bar and we weren't paying any attention to the lyrics on the screen because we "knew" the lyrics. What's hilarious is that we had both been singing it this way forever!! When we sat down after the song, everyone thought that we had ad libbed, but we just didn't know the lyrics :)
