The story:

Heard this on the radio about a month ago for the first time in
years. I was on the job in a company vehicle waiting for the
designated time to pick up from a client. Maybe it was lack of
other background noise or because I'm now in my late thirties
and the song was popular during my early twenties, but I
heard it and suddenly the lyrics were intelligible. Really
important stuff here :-)
