I was discussing how "deep" Marley's lyrics were to friends, and
used a phrase in the song to explain, "without a woman, you'd
have no child." They saw I was serious and burst out laughing.
When they told me between laughs that it was "no woman no
cry, to save face I said "Well...that's not even good English".
Marley's still deep to me.
