The Story: Don't eat the fruit in the garden, Eden,, It wasn't in God's natural plan., You were only a rib,, And look at what you did,, To Adam, the father of Man.
The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
I used to sing this song as a young wild frontgirl in a rock band at a time when I only could get a couple of sentences of the lyric and turned into gibberish the rest of it. I had no idea whatsoever of what it meant- used to sing it with very much attitude though. When I was asked what it was about I could only think of the cornflakes, of the girl gone to the other side- that of the rising girls- of the pils of the weight watchers- conviniently turned into watch weighters- which I had barely heard about and thought were just people obsessed with weight- And I finally had an inspirational rush and answered it was a song about weight problems, food disorders and diet pils, more precisely a very sad story about a girl, Nellie, who had a weight problem and decided to eat only cornflakes- as it was a godd solution- and afterwards went on pils- on advise of some watch weighter, and passed away. Also added a little speech about the american consumerist beauty stereotype of the cornflake girl and how tricky it was
