The song features on "Raising Sand" by Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, although I see it was also covered by Emmylou Harris. I first heard the lyric as "laun-dery", which sort of made sense but seemed a bit strange; so I listened again and heard "lingerie". I can dig that - his woman done gone left him and he'll miss her and her stuff. Only when I checked the lyric sheet did I learn the truth, not to mention the fact that the track's called "My Long Journey", which should have been a giveaway.
