I knew it didn't make any sense, I mean why would he be singing about cancer, but I always heard it that way. I realized all of a sudden how wrong I was when I heard the song in the car one day, and I realized what he was really saying. I said, "Oh, he's saying 'I guess it's really over'? I always thought it was 'mesothelioma'!" and my mom thought it was really funny.
