The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
I was watching a Fixx concert on MTV late one Saturday night with my friend Mel. This had to have been 1984 or so. The band started playing "Saved by Zero" (my favorite song of theirs), so I of course had to sing along. After I sang "maybe I'm a whale," Mel burst our laughing and said, "What?!? What did you just say?" So I sang it again. In tears by this time, he got the cassette out of his car, took out the liner notes and showed me the correct lyrics. I still think Cy Curnin says "maybe I'm a whale..."
