It was my brothers first impression of the lyrics,
when he heard greg sing them on the album "cold as
the clay", however he quickly realized it wasn't
what he was singing since the name of the song is
Omie Wise. I don't think he believed it was the
actual lyrics when he told me what he thought was
sung, this is due to the songs serious subject
(the murder of Naomie Wise in 1808).
the writer of the song is not Greg graffin, he is
however the one performing the song when my
brother missheard it... the actual writer of the
song might be Braxton Craven (under the name
Charlie Vernon), but this is just speculations..
