I'd been singing it this way for years, until one day when my dad and I were talking about Bon Jovi songs. I started singing these words and he said, "I don't remember those words being in there..." I pulled up the lyrics, ready to show him I was right, when I found the CORRECT lyrics. It's going to take a while for me to live this one down.
