The story:

When I would hear this song on the radio, I would sing along with it even though I would mumble through the parts I didn't know and say "I've got a rusty hand" instead of "I've got a machinehead." I didn't even know what the song was called or who sung it, so I looked it up on the internet and found the lyrics. When I saw how wrong I was, all I could think was, "Man, I hope no one payed much attention to MY version..."
