I've been dipped on the nose by the grave.

The story:

My mom and I were in the car and listening to the radio. The song "Kiss From A Rose" came on, which incidently was/is my favorite song. Anyway, I was singing along, and I sang those lyrics, instead of what they were. She pointed out to me that those probably weren't right, though I was still convinced that I was right. When I got home I got on the internet and looked up the lyrics, seeing that I was wrong. Sulking into the kitchen , I delivered my sad news to my mom, who had a rather smug (yet amused) smirk on her face.
