It's a ride at the fair, over and over again!

The story:

I was singing this in front of my (then) boyfriend and he started laughing asking me what did I just sing. I told him what I had been singing and he corrected me. I still thought he had it wrong though and had to listen to it over and over again (excuse the pun). I also checked out various lyrics sites just to be sure. I am actually gutted that they weren't the right words that I was singing :(
