The story:

I figured it out in Jr. High, but there was no embarrasing detail. I
was four maybe when I misheard, and to make it all make sense, I
imagined a giant, person-sized hard boiled egg outside in the cold
rain, but since I thought it would topple over, I imagined it in my
grandpa's tire swing. And I just **sumed that was the image
Bonnie Tyler was going after. I thought it was one of the saddest
things I'd ever heard this song about a lonely egg in the rain,
swinging all alone. (I never could figure out why it talked about
Koolaid :)
