This was my Dad, he thought the song was hilarious, and he'd turn it up when it was on the car radio back in the late 70's, which he almost never did. I figured he was right, since I was just a kid. It was years later that I heard it and realized what it really was, and that my Dad will never, ever, be a "Soul Man."
