It was in fact my sister who misheard the lyrics.
We both sang along while the song was on the radio. I couldn’t stop laughing when I heard my sister’s version, I mean, it doesn’t make sense. I told all my friends (I know I’m mean) who actually thought it was a fun and cool way to sing the song. My sister is now a class- “legend”.
We were very surprised when we just saw how many people got the lyrics wrong.
