I'll never be your pink suburban

The story:

I was singing to the song with my friend in the car,
and she stops me and says "what did you just say"
and I said "Yeah, I don't get it either" and she
says "No, no what did you say" and I said, "How do
you not be someone's pink suburban anyways?" and she
starts hysterically laughing and says "It's BEAST OF
BURDEN!!" ...Then proceeded to tell all of our
friends.
