The story:

I figured that was too weird of a line to be correct, since it didn't fit the context of the song one bit, but every time I heard it I couldn't figure out the real line. It kind of sounded like "which end are you," if not for the strong 's' sound at the end... and that didn't make much sense either. Finally I gave up and googled the real lyrics, which make a lot more sense.
