I was sitting in my friend's car, and we were just listening, and I piped up for about 4 lines of the song, and he heard this and said "what the hell are you talking about? Eggplants?" and replayed it for me until I realized how stupid it sounded. I had just accepted it for a long time as a weird lyric.
