The story:

I have listened to the song for many, many years, but never really gave much thought to the idea that violence over potted meat doesn't make the best of sense, even in a song about drug use. I was singing along as it played on a store's radio and recieved some odd looks- I called my daughter and had her look up the lyrics. Woops!
