It was actually my mother who originally sang it
wrong very loudly in her convertible car (roof
down). After loudly and confidently singing these
lyrics, all the neighbouring drivers turned to get a
good look at her. Now we embarrass her everywhere
she goes telling anybody who will listen about her
mishearing!
