I was sitting on a neighborhood porch with three of my "summer best friends" when the Jackson Five played on the radio (AM! - it was 1969 or so)and I had the stupidity to ask why someone would fly to Mexico to prove he loved somebody and had made a mistake... when two of them looked at me and exaggerated their mouth movements to say "I was blind to let you go, baby" -
