The story:

Actually I was the one who was right. Everyone I knew said it was "Jeannie Shipton" not Jeannie Shrimpton. For years, I tried to make myself hear Jeannie Shipton, since that's what everyone insisted the name was. I thought, maybe I was wrong. (After all, I always heard the Beatles song-Ticket to Ride, and thought it was Ticket to Rye. Which years later, I found out that's what they were singing, but American record agents thought no one in America would know where Rye was, so they just changed the name of the song, and didn't bother to rerecord it.)
The one day, I looked up the lyrics online. Lo and behold, I was right all these years. It was Jeannie Shrimpton. Apparently she was a British supermodel during the 1960's, with of course, great hair.
