This always bothered me--Woodstock happened in 1969, but the song was from 1967. Other lyrics sites often get this wrong, too.

you are wrong it wasn't Woodstock the concert..it was Woodstock the school that the co-writer David Porter went to ... John Belushi mis heard the lyrics... DUH
