I always had this romantic image of this guy living alone on a sparsely populated tropical island, perhaps a simple fisherman, but amazingly good looking, and who really knows how to treat a woman right, if only he could find the one...
My whole image of the song was blown years later watching VH1 Classics, thanks to closed captioning. The entire dream simply crumbled to dust...or sand on the beach.
