I didn't realize this song was about an affair that John had and so I thought that he was talking about a fan.When he gets into the whole he sleeps in the bath I thought he meant he didn't want her to sleep with him not the other way around. I just misunderstood the whole song. So I was with my dad in the car and he's the whole reason I ever started listening to The Beatles. This song came on the radio and I thought I could be smart and know the first line so I blurlted it out. He started laughing at me and wouldn't tell me why until we got home.
