My friend and I were singing along with my tape (yes, cassette tape!) and she just stopped and looked at me and said "what did you just say the lyrics were?" I never did understand why, if U2 always talked about the ills of war and fighting, Bono would want some lead in his face - like getting hit in the face with a gun or something...
