This song came out about the same time that stupid "Rubber Band Man" song was big. When I was a kid I used to think "What the heck is with all the rubber people songs? Stupid!" After i was older (WAY older.), my husband and I were pretty big Clapton fans, but I always said "I hate that stupid 'Rubber Man' song!" He had no idea what I was talking about. Then, one day while looking at a sheet of album lyrics, it struck me. Duh! I about wet myself laughing.
