    I had the song on a tape and my friends really liked the song, except they were singing it weird and it took some time for me to realize what they both thought the lyrics were. Apparently, when they had first heard the song it was around the time when the movie, "The Doors" came out and well... they assumed that that was what the guy was talking about. He wanted to be a Door.
