I was at lunch with my 10 year old son when Marley's I Shot
the Sheriff came on and after this line he asked me what a
capital offense is (well, that's what I thought I heard). I told him
it was a crime so bad that they hang the the person.
He replied, "whatever, but I'm asking you about this song,
what is the CAPITAL OF FRANCE?"
I spit out my chicken wing and covered the table in ranch
dressing and his grandpa nearly choked on his drink!
From the mouths of babes - he argued with us for five minutes
about the correct lyric and wouldn't believe us when we
googled the lyrics and showed him.
