The story:

One time while carefully listening to the song on the radio in
my car, I finally realized what the real lyric was. I'd always
thought that the words I heard were a clever, humorous
euphemism for catching some disease or injuring yourself at
the establishment being sung about. Like saying "Be careful in
there, buddy - don't bend your sticker. Uh haw haw haw haw!"
