My sister was totally confused about what Mick Jagger could possibly be saying in this song. He slurs every single word together. Finally, she just asked me one day, "What IS he saying?? I meta supa sanya breka gabeddy"?
At the time, "gin-soaked bar-room queen" wouldn't have registered with 9 and 10 year old brains!!
We still sing it like that to this day. -
