The story:

I was singing along loudly to this song (in the privacy of my
bedroom, luckily) and, since I doubted that Steven and Laura-Mary
were singing about steak and neckwear. When I looked up the
correct lyrics, I was a little bit disappointed (and at the same time,
relieved) that they weren't singing about showing some guy named
Shane their scarves and cooking meat.
