Well, I never understood why a person would write a song about how much they liked fried chicken. I mean I do too but, not enough to write a song about it. But when the song first came out, I liked it, so I called a radio station in NYC and requested them to play it. The DJ (Dave Hermann) at the station had no idea what I was talking about so I was gracious enough to sing it for him. He laughed so hard he put our conversation on the air...
