These lyrics seemed to make total sense...Nelly doesnt have a ride, he just has the sneakers on his feet, so the poor boy can't leave Cancun. I was at a frat party, and i was doing a kareoke version of this song, drunk and very very loud,for my boyfriend who is a huge Nelly fan and I sang out these lyrics. My boyfriend jumped on the table a and dragged me off, yelling at me for embarrasing him in front of his boys, and informed me of the real words. I think he was just looking for an excuse to stop my performance though...
