I wasn't wrong for more than a month or so, actually, but my friend was sure I had been. The song had been around for a few years, I guess, when I first saw the video. She heard me singing it my way and laughed and accused me of having thought those were were the words for "all these years." All I had in the way of defense was that at least, it hadn't been THAT long. Besides, which seems more likely... a hot teacher, or someone being happy about being a rock star instead of a teacher? There you go.
