The story:

I first heard his song as a kid and for years I
could've sworn Lennon said "get high" instead
of "can't hide". I even convinced some other
people I was right. It wasn't until I was singing
in the car with my mother and she started
laughing and corrected me that I realized the
right lyric. I was listening to the song again
today and I can STILL swear I was right. Just
listen to it!
