The story:

That's just how I remembered the lyrics since I
was young. I sort of thought of it as Peter
Gabriel doing "product placement" in his song.
Nobody ever bothered correcting me (I guess people
were also convinced that he was in fact saying
Chevrolet), until one night I was singing karaoke
at a friend's house. The machine was set to
random, so when my turn came up, I got "In Your
Eyes". I started, then soon, I saw the real
lyrics on the screen!
