I can't understand, why Raisin Bran help another man? help me
understand.

The story:

I must have been like 13 years-old. My cousin and I were really big
fans of Depeche Mode and R.E.M. and and we used to listen to their
tapes in his room and sing along. We really didn't quite understand
what the song was saying at this point, and my cousin just
mumbled through. However, I told him--jokingly--"perhaps they're
thinking about switching breakfast cereal brands? It sounds to me
like "Raisin Bran"?"

We both laughed so hard, but it just got stuck on us, and forever
have sung it that way.

Then we made up an entire story about why choose one brand over
the other.

As an adult, I finally figured out what the song said, but I still sing
about breakfast cereal. " Help me understand... Why Raisin Bran?"
