The story:

Back when I was a kid riding in the car with my parents they would listen to the oldies station and we used to sing along sometimes. When this song came on I used to sing the misheard lyric all the time and my mother would just laugh. It wasn't until later that I knew the real lyric. Still I sang it anyway because its funny and disturbing at the same time.
