When I first heard this song on the radio, I couldn't understand what Henry Lee kept wailing at the fade-out to this song. It sounded like he was saying either "how's the road" or "Hauser Road", in reference to somewhere in Hope, Indiana. I thought perhaps he was addressing this song to one of the roadies in his band. I'm glad I found the real lyrics on www.lyricsmode.com.
