Hot dog, jumping frog, Albert Gherkin

The story:

I was drunk at a party and this song came on. Everyone started singing along to it really loudly.

I was merrily belting out my version of the lyrics when my friend gave me a nudge, lauging hysterically, and said to listen out for this other chap in the room because he was getting the lyrics hopelessly wrong. I listened, and to my horror this other chap was singing the version of the lyrics that I thought were correct and had also been singing!

Of course I joined in the laughter, covering up my gaffe.

I still don't know who Albert Gherkin is though.
